With a strong foundation in structural engineering and building science, Izzy brings a sustainability-focused perspective to her work at Certa. She earned her B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, where an industry-sponsored embodied carbon analysis of the Hans Rosling Building sparked her interest in high-performance design. Izzy also contributed to USDOT- and WSDOT-funded Urban Freight Lab research. At Certa, she applies her structural training to deliver practical, efficient, and environmentally responsible building solutions.
