As Certa’s Director of Architecture, Jim leads both the Design and Technical Standards Teams and serves as the Managing Partner of Certa’s Seattle office. He oversees active projects across Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Florida, working directly with owners, contractors, owner’s representatives, architects, jurisdictional authorities, and designers on a wide range of initiatives as both an architect and technical consultant. Jim collaborates closely with all project stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that meet the highest standards and expectations. Known for his strong management capabilities and commitment to design excellence, he consistently achieves exceptional results on even the most complex projects. Jim is a licensed architect in Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado, and Florida, and has been practicing Architecture since 2000.
